Some houses are difficult to work out when you first walk in.

This one isn’t.

There’s an immediate feeling that it has been properly lived in, properly loved and, importantly, allowed to evolve into a house that actually works for modern family life.

For us, though, the ground floor is where the house really comes together.

It’s largely open-plan, with the kitchen slightly defined from the main living and dining space, before everything flows naturally out towards the garden. And that garden matters. Victorian townhouses this close to central Ramsgate don’t always come with genuinely useful outside space; this one sits on a surprisingly good-sized plot.

The owners would probably be the first to say there may be things the next person chooses to tweak or personalise. We rather like that. What matters is that the house has clearly been cared for, is presented in very good order and already feels like a proper home.

Then there’s South Eastern Road itself.

You’re close enough to walk into town, reach the West Cliff and wander along towards Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour, while good local schooling and everyday essentials are all within easy reach.

A big, adaptable Victorian house. A proper garden. And a location that makes considerably more sense once you actually live here.
