Imagine being able to walk to London in just over an hour.
Step outside, turn left, and within a few minutes you are at Ramsgate’s high-speed railway station. Turn right and the town centre is only a short walk away. Station Approach Road has always been well connected, but this particular stretch has something more.
Set within its tree-lined section is a small collection of handsome 1930s semi-detached houses. There are only a handful of them, and in our opinion, they are the finest examples of their kind on the road.
We are proud to say this is one of them.
It is a particularly good-looking three-bedroom home, with the proportions that made houses of this period so enduringly popular. Proper rooms. Good natural light. Space that feels considered rather than squeezed in.
Downstairs, exposed wooden floors add warmth and character, while outside there is something increasingly difficult to find around here: genuine off-street parking.
At the rear, the garden is mature, established and clearly cared for. Fruit trees, settled shrubs and the sort of planting that takes years to create. It is not a blank canvas. It already has a story.
The position is difficult to improve upon. Trains, town, schools and everyday essentials are all close enough to reach on foot, yet the house itself sits within one of the greener and more attractive sections of the road.
Homes like this do not appear very often.
A handsome 1930s semi. Three bedrooms. Parking. A proper garden. And London, somehow, feeling remarkably close.
